Kelcy Warren was born in Tuskegee, Alabama on October 26, 1912. He attended the Tuskegee Institute and later graduated from the University of Indiana.
He started his career with a company called Barge Industries. It is also known as Men-Dak Steel Corp., which he became a part owner of in 1941. The company is located on Lake Michigan and has been owned by Warren since its founding in 1936. His company was involved in the steel industry until 1995.
After retiring from his company, Kelcy Warren started several companies that involve the mining. These are Silver Hawk Mining and Agua Caliente Gold Corporation, which are both located in Arizona. The main source of power for his mining companies is the use of geothermal energy and hydroelectric power plants.
The holdings of Warren make him one of the richest people in Arizona and one of the richest people in America overall. His net worth is approximately $12.8 billion, according to Business Insider.
