Kelcy Warren Career and Net Worth

Kelcy Warren was born in Tuskegee, Alabama on October 26, 1912. He attended the Tuskegee Institute and later graduated from the University of Indiana.

He started his career with a company called Barge Industries. It is also known as Men-Dak Steel Corp., which he became a part owner of in 1941. The company is located on Lake Michigan and has been owned by Warren since its founding in 1936. His company was involved in the steel industry until 1995.

After retiring from his company, Kelcy Warren started several companies that involve the mining. These are Silver Hawk Mining and Agua Caliente Gold Corporation, which are both located in Arizona. The main source of power for his mining companies is the use of geothermal energy and hydroelectric power plants.

The holdings of Warren make him one of the richest people in Arizona and one of the richest people in America overall. His net worth is approximately $12.8 billion, according to Business Insider. If his wealth is estimated at the current historical rate of inflation, it would rise to $14.3 billion in 2018.

Kelcy Warren has donated a lot of money to charities over his lifetime. His charity work was sponsored by his wife Kelcy, who is also a philanthropist and a member of the board of trustees at Tuskegee University. Kelcy Warren has donated more than $100 million to Tuskegee University.

The University of Arizona Santa Fe Expeditionary Learning Center is another one of his philanthropic donations. He donated his personal residence at the university, which was built by Mizner and later became a house museum called the Sterling M. Hutchins House Museum.

Warren and his wife Kelcy donated a lot to charity. They both donated to their alma mater, Tuskegee Institute, as well as a couple of other charities and foundations.
