Patrick Lucchese is a New York City-based entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of tbdNEWS, an online news publication that aims to give a voice to those who don’t have one in the media. He was also the founder and CEO of C&A Marketing before he retired in 2014.

Patrick Lucchese joined the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability in 2009. In his position, he is meeting with congressional leaders to help change the legislative landscape that has stifled innovation and disempowered consumers, who are increasingly standing on their own. He advises Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke as well as the Office of Financial Research and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau about regulation and legislation affecting financial products and services in a new era of leadership for America’s consumers.

Patrick is a partner at Drexel University’s Center for Positive Organizations where he provides education, research, and consulting services focused on organizational effectiveness and performance. He is a member of the Board of Directors at First Republic Bank and a board observer at ExO Works. He is also a board observer at Jailbird, Inc., which provides college students with the tools they need to advance their education while achieving their professional goals.

Patrick Lucchese was named one of America’s Best Young Entrepreneurs by Ernst & Young. He was inducted into the Direct Marketing Association Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Cosmetics, Toiletries & Fragrance Association Hall of Fame in 2001. The Direct Marketing Foundation awarded him its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. He is an active supporter of women’s organizations and his wife, Dr. Mary Frances Lucchese, is a breast cancer survivor. He sits on the board of the New Women’s Forum and the University of Pennsylvania Women’s Leadership Council.
